A few paragraphs is plenty. Include what has already been tried and what everyone disagrees about — that is the part that makes an answer useful.

The actual situation is more useful than a tidy brief — what has been tried, what is disputed, and what breaks today.

What happens next

  1. 01

    A reply from an engineer

Within one business day, from an engineer who read what you sent. Not a scheduling link with no message attached.

  2. 02

    30 minutes, once

One call to work out whether this is a fit. If it is not, you will get told that on the call rather than in a follow-up two weeks later.

  3. 03

    A written scope, priced

If it is a fit, a fixed-price discovery that ends with a scope, a risk list, and a milestone number. The document is yours either way.

Direct booking30 minutes

Or take a slot without writing anything.

The same call either way. Pick a time and you will get a calendar invite; there is no qualification call before the real one.

Booking runs on Calendly, so opening this section shares your IP address and device details with them. Everything you type into it goes to us. Open it on calendly.com instead.

Before you write

Three things worth including.

  • The constraint

A date, a regulation, a contract, a launch. The thing that makes this urgent rather than interesting.

  • The disagreement

What your team is split on. It is usually the most informative sentence in the whole enquiry.

  • The failed attempt

What was already tried and why it did not hold. Saves us both from proposing it again.
